Together with Gustave, you set off on a journey through Provence, the French Riviera and Corsica! Each adventure brings new topics, engaging stories and varied activities that help you understand French and start speaking it.

Is this course right for me if I don’t know any French at all?
Absolutely! We start right from zero. As soon as you purchase the course, you’ll get access to A0, the preparation course where you’ll discover French sounds and learn to read. So by the time A1 begins, you’ll already be ready to start learning the language!
When does the journey begin, and how does learning work?
The A1 start date is shown when you enrol, but there’s no need to wait around: A0 is available straight after purchase!
Two new lessons open each week. There are 30 stops ahead across Provence, the French Riviera and Corsica — 15 whole weeks of French adventures!
At every stop you’ll explore grammar, stories, listening, speaking and writing practice, interactive activities and, of course, Gustave’s adventures.
And whenever you want to review, every unlocked lesson stays available for life. Come back as often as you like!
What is a clan, and why do I need one?
Travelling is more fun together! That’s why you’ll join a clan of six participants.
You’ll share a group chat where you can get to know one another, talk, practise French and exchange impressions. Each clan also has its own French tutor!
What is the difference between the tutor and the teacher?
They each have an important mission!
Your tutor is French. You can chat with them and practise your French in your clan’s group chat. They share photos, videos and voice messages to show you what everyday life in France is really like. That’s 15 weeks of real conversation!
Your CampusFR teacher helps you understand grammar, exercises and any other challenges you come across while learning.
With one, you practise real-life French; with the other, you discover how all its tricky details work!
Can I study on my phone?
Yes! You can take lessons and complete exercises on a phone, tablet or computer.
A larger screen can be a little more comfortable for long texts and writing tasks. But you definitely don’t need to bring a laptop on every adventure with Gustave! 😉
How do I get access after purchase?
After payment, we’ll send an email with login instructions to the address you used when purchasing the course.
Your A0 preparation course will already be waiting for you in your CampusFR account, so you can start straight away! The main A1 journey opens on its official start date.
Is access to the learning materials time-limited?
No, you keep access to the learning materials for life! ❤️
You can revisit lessons, repeat exercises and refresh your knowledge even years later.
The only time limit is the clan chat with your French tutor, which is available for 15 weeks.
What if I struggle?
Gustave is an optimist, but even he didn’t learn French in a single day! 🦒
You don’t have to understand everything the first time. You can review the material, practise and ask your teacher questions. We’re here to help you keep moving forward, even when a grammar rule simply refuses to stick!
